Krunch Gold Qualifies For PGF Premier Nationals!

Riding timely hitting and strong pitching Krunch Gold rolled to an undefeated record at the Virginia Beach PGF National Qualifier on June 6th and 7th. Krunch Gold is still the only central Pennsylvania team to ever qualify for the 'Premier' division of play in PGF Nationals at Huntington Beach, California. Cassi Parulis To Attend New York University

Cassi Parulis has announced her intentions to attend New York University. Cassi will become a cornerstone of NYU's new softball program led by Jimmy Barrett. In addition to softball Cassi will also pursue her love of journalism, media, and film in the global media center of the world. Congratulations Cassi!

The Bears Get Hartman!

Allison Hartman capped off a great two week recruiting run for Krunch Gold with a verbal commitment to the Morgan State University Bears. Allison will leave this fall to join the Bears. Great job Alli!!

Krunch Gold Finishes Strong! Fall Record 13-5-1

Krunch Gold returned home from a successful 5-2 finish at the Sun Classic in Orlando, Florida. This concludes a nice fall season that included four verbal commitments. Mark your calendars for November 12th when the Krunch Gold Class of 2015 will begin to sign their National Letters of Intent! Krunch Gold will now begin to prepare for their winter trip to Florida. It's National Letter of Intent Week!!

The Krunch Gold Class of 2015 had their big day this week. Krunch signings included:
November 12th - Halle Marion signed her National Letter of Intent in a ceremony at Middletown Area High School in Middletown, Pa. Halle will be attending Saint Francis University in the fall of 2015.
November 12th - Allison Hartman signed her National Letter of Intent in a ceremony at Susquehanna Township High School in Harrisburg, Pa. Allison will be attending Morgan State University in the fall of 2015.
November 13th - Melanie Martire signed her National Letter of Intent in a ceremony at Herndon High School in Herndon, Virginia. Melanie will be attending Saint Francis University in the fall of 2015.

Krunch Gold Recruits Three East Coast Stars

The word of Krunch Gold's success continues to spread resulting in the team landing three top recruits in the last two weeks.
Meghan Crosby returned home to central Pennsylvania after playing for Wagners 3n2 out of Florida. The Upper Dauphin High School infielder is a nice addition to the Krunch Gold roster.
Virginia star pitcher Katie Vannicola has joined the Krunch after many successful years of play in Virginia. The Georgetown recruit adds to a pitching staff that pitched Krunch Gold to Premier Nationals in California last year.
Today Krunch Gold added to an already strong roster with the addition of star infielder Stacy Mayer. The Saint Joseph's University recruit is an all-state infielder and cather for Rhode Island powerhouse Lincoln High School.

Krunch Gold Returns From Florida

Krunch Gold left the snow and cold of Pennsylvania for sunny Florida and the Winter Sun Classic at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The team recorded another strong finish going 5-2. Krunch Gold will now settle in to winter workouts as they prepare for another run at PGF Nationals in Huntington Beach, California this summer.

Meet Coach Christiansen

Colin Christiansen may be the youngest coach on the staff but that certainly doesn't mean his work load is light! Colin has been helping the Krunch since 2011 and Krunch Gold since 2012. Colin is currently a Student Assistant Coach at the Division 1 Mount Saint Mary's softball program. He is also an owner and coordinator for the Learning Living Loving Softball Summer Camp Program. When Colin is not working on Krunch Gold college recruiting, player recruiting, games and practices, he still finds time to coach and play in a men's fastpitch league.

Alyssa Herion Verbal Commitment To West Chester!

Krunch Gold shortstop Alyssa Herion recently made a verbal commitment to play for Head Coach Diane Lokey and the Golden Rams of West Chester University. Alyssa worked very hard in finding the right balance of softball to go along with the nursing career she is going to pursue. Alyssa will sign her National Letter of Intent later on this spring. Congratulations Alyssa!

Winslow Starts Summer With A Verbal To UNCW!

Kaly Winslow decided summer vacation was not quite enough excitement. On May 23rd she also made a verbal agreement to continue as a student athlete at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Kaly will join the Seahawks softball program in the fall of 2016. Way to go Kaly!!!!!

Caryn Bailey Finishes Amazing Season For Hofstra

Former Krunch Gold star Caryn Bailey finished a season to remember in 2014-2015 for the Hofstra Pride softball team. Caryn helped lead her team to another NCAA tournament berth by hitting .386, scoring 47 runs, with a .416 on base percentage and a .641 slugging percentage. She led the Colonial Athletic Conference with 16 home runs, a career high 52 runs batted in, while playing in all 53 Pride games. Listed are some more of Caryn's accomplishments for the season:

Hayley Bollinger Commits To West Chester University!

Hayley Bollinger's commitment to West Chester University completes the class of 2013 for Krunch Gold. Coach Diane Lokey will no doubt benefit from the energy that Hayley brings to every practice and game. Congratulations to Hayley and the Golden Rams!

Kristen Pray Verbal Commitment

Kristen Pray (2014) becomes the latest Krunch Gold player to verbally commit. Kristen will join Dr Craig Coleman and the Robert Morris Colonials in the fall of 2014. Student athlete is more than just a catch phrase at RMU. Kristen will be a student athlete at the NFCA's 2011/2012 number one ranked all academic team in the nation!

Liberty For Madison Kotchey!

Madison Kotchey 2014 has joined the ever growing list of Krunch verbals. Madison will be traveling to Virginia in the fall of 2014 to become a student athlete playing for Coach Paul Wetmore and the Liberty Flames. Madison has made the most of her short time with the Krunch, working tirelessly to achieve her goals on the field and in the classroom. Congrats Madison!

Garlock, Santai, and Thompson Sign National Letters of Intent

It was a big week for Krunch Gold players with Madison Kotchey making a verbal agreement with Liberty University on Sunday the 11th. Wednesday the 14th was the first day of the early signing period and Ethel Santai signed her NLI with Saint Francis University along with celebrating her birthday. On Thursday the 15th Casey Thompson signed her NLI with Shippensburg University. McKenna Garlock finished up the busy week signing her NLI with Lock Haven University on Friday the 16th.

Taylor Brintzenhoff has made a verbal commitment to play for the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters! In the fall of 2014 Taylor will head to Ruston, Louisiana to play for Coach Mark Montgomery. Congratulations Taylor!

Krunch Gold Goes 6-1 at Team New Jersey!

Krunch Gold returned home from a successful trip to the Team New Jersey Showcase with a 6-1 record. The only blemish was a loss to California Team Mizuno. Krunch Gold will return to action at the TNT showcase over the July 4th holiday. The team would also like to thank all the colleges who have come to watch us play the last couple weeks.

Hayley Norton Verbal Commitment!

Hayley Norton becomes the first Class of 2015 Krunch Gold player to make a verbal commitment. Hayley will take her big bat to the University of Pittsburgh to play for Coach Holly Aprile and the Panthers. Very well done Hayley!!

Hayley Fagan finished her softball season at PGF Nationals in California by making a verbal commitment to play softball for Coach Mike Shehorn and the University of Wilmington Wildcats! Congrats to Hayley!

Rachael Mumma becomes the first 2014 Krunch Gold player to make a verbal commitment. Rachael will travel to New York City to play for Coach Tom Pardalis and the Manhattan Jaspers. Congratulations Rachael!!

Casey Thompson becomes the eighth player on the 2011-2012 Krunch Gold team to verbal or sign a national letter of intent to play NCAA softball. Casey has made a verbal commitment to play for Coach Brookens at Shippensburg University. Congratulations to the newest Raider!!

Hornets Get Shields!

Hannah Shields capped off a successful pitching effort in Huntingdon Beach, California by making a verbal agreement to continue her education and softball with the Delaware State University Hornets! Hannah will leave for Delaware in the fall of 2016 to play for Head Coach Amber Jackson, a former NCAA All-American and former National Pro Fastpitch All-Star. Congratulations Hannah!!

Krunch Gold Players Sign on National Letter of Intent Day

Marion Becomes A Red Flash!!

It is only fitting that one of the regions fastest players will join the 'Red Flash' of Saint Francis University in the fall of 2015. Last week Halle Marion made a verbal commitment with Coach Jennifer Patrick-Swift. Congratuations Halle!!

Class of 2012 Krunch Pitcher Cassie Lapotsky Commits to University of the Sciences

University of the Sciences Devils will soon be welcoming former KRUNCH pitcher Cassie Lapotsky (2012) as one of their newest student athletes. The Devils will have good fit with Cassie who is a fierce competitor that will perform both on the field and in the classroom.
